Keeping in touch.

One time, my friend Dick Farnell emailed me to tell me he had not been killed in the earthquake in California. Since he lived in Alaska at the time, and he hadn't told me he was traveling to California, it only occurred to me to worry after I had heard from him.

I am happy to be your friend, and Scott's, and if anything happens to Scott, I will let you know. I hope of course he will be OK.

Please sometime send pictures. Mary

I would love to see pictures of you and your kids! Please do send them. I'll be looking forward to that.

Hopefully nothing will happen to Scott while I'm away--because then I won't know. I worry about him a lot because of his diabetes--worry he will go into a coma or something and because he lives alone, no one will know.

He can take care of himself when he is lucid--I worry about when he is not lucid due to the diabetes.

And also, he is not as careful as he should be sometimes. None of us are, but with him, it is more critical. But, it is also his choice.

Thanks for the email.

I'm sorry he hurt you, but he may not have intended to--he may have just been being practical. Still, I do know what you mean and I do worry about him.
