New Moon

New Moon, by Mary Stebbins. It's pretty faint. Can you see it? The new moon is a time for new beginnings. A time of hope. Posted by Picasa

New moon, new moon
Pray let me see
Who my husband is to be
The color of his hair,
The clothes he is to wear
And the happy times he will wed me.

I don't know who wrote this, but a friend from college gave it to me. It had somehow made things come true, but not with the happy endings that one might expect or look for in fairy tales. But I still believe in it. And always hope that I can be happy again.

Based on your experience, a fairy tale turning like May Day's Eve is scary. I don't think I will try reciting this poem on a new moon.

But I will always wish you happiness, you deserve to be happy after all the sufferings you had been through (Would you want me to specify it here?) Ha! Ha! Ha! This is not the proper forum to discuss it. We can always talk in person.

Hoping that you find HAPPINESS soon, Life is lived more when you are happy.

Oh, yes, yes, I am very happy now. And I'm sure you both know why. :-)
