What Fibromyalgia feels like

My fibromylagia has been worse than normal lately (since I got to Detroit). It hurts, but everyone gets bored hearing about it.

Took this picture of an art piece at Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson, MI. I apologize for not getting the artist's nae--if you know it, let me know and I will add it. Posted by Picasa

Hell’s bells, woman, tell ME about. I warrant you I won’t be bored. And I can maybe respond in kind – come to think of it, I don’t talk that much about it, either.

Okay, so what hurts worst?

Me? It’s my lower back, mostly manifested in the left side’s trigger point. Next, neck and left hip. And currently, without explanation, my left foot. Hurts to walk. I lurch. Like Lurch.

Pfaugh upon it.

Or you could say “Fibro’s not for sissies.” Ain’t it the truth?

Your shot’s one of those that shifts perspective as you look at it, like an illusion. Took me a minute to see the propeller screws !

My lower back always bothers me and I have to keep stretching it. My hips--it switches back and forth between them, or soemtimes both. My knees and sometimes my feet. And my neck. Sometimes my chest. Those propellors seem to represent that pain drilling in at the trigger points.
